New to Artclectic
Cindy Miller has been a working artist for 40 years. “I grew up in a family with artists and musicians so it was natural for me to pick up art,” she says.
“These days I'm inspired by historical and cultural influences. I have a background in art and archaeology and this is evident in my work. Each collection that I produce represents a specific influence whether it is from 16th century Europe or symbolism from Native American mythology. I spend as much time as I can in museums studying works from the past. I'm always in awe of the workmanship and ideas.”
"Cultivated Woodland" -- This was the name of the piece I won the Saul Bell award for. It was inspired by beaver dams.
Rene Lalique. His interpretations of nature in jewelry design are unsurpassed in my opinion. Master craftsmanship and technical ability are awe inspiring.
