“People, places, memories, and my dreams inspire me to create,” says Kiarah Whitehead. “I'm a self-taught watercolor artist. I've been painting for three years and I'm excited to start connecting with my peers.”
She describes her work as semi-realistic portraits. “I paint with watercolor on 100% cotton paper. Some of my paintings include acrylic paint or ink highlights.”

"Golden." It makes me smile every time I say it and it perfectly describes how I felt when painting the piece.

Kehinde Wiley. His portraits are so lifelike and beautiful.

The food I eat.
