New to Artclectic
“When I see a form in life that feels different, light or energetic, I usually want to explore it,” begins Les Priest, a working artist for 20 years. “My artwork is a direct expression of my surroundings and life. I draw inspiration from childhood, family heirlooms, and advertisement.”
Most of his works are created on custom canvas. Les often starts pieces from sketches or under drawings and finishes them in acrylic.
It’s hard to say I gravitate toward a single artist but I would be Giorgio de Chirico. His interpretations are most interesting to me.
Zürich is easily the most inspiring place I’ve been. I think in lifestyle, nature and architecture, there is much to be motivated by in Zürich.
"Keepsakes"
My titles tend to be very practical and literal. My favorite is "Keepsakes". I have used this title for multiple pieces and it says the most about my artistic style and inspiration.
