Mixed Media 2D "I respond to a lot of life events and emotions,” says Ruth Crowe about what inspires her to create. “And I love history and old vintage photos.”
She utilizes encaustics and image transfer processes. “I prefer to use my own photos but I also like to incorporate vintage photos into my work. I love the old black and white images that seem to tell a story and the wax medium brings those stories to life.”
A self-taught working artist for eight years, Ruth began her training at the age of 50. “I love engaging with people about my art. I have stories to tell. Come see what stories speak to you.”
