New to Artclectic
“I have been working with molten glass for over 30 years and just now feel that I have the skills I need to create the artwork I dream of,” says Kimberley Adams of her Transformation Glass pieces. “I started out as a jeweler and lampwork bead maker and moved to kiln-formed glass about 10 years ago.”
Katie’s training comes mostly in the form of studio classes.
Asked what inspires her to create her colorful, happy, modern pieces, Katie replied, “Usually, colors and patterns I see in nature start an idea going in my head."
I don't generally name my drop-out pieces except to describe their colors. With that explanation -- "Night Dive with Ostracods. '
Jerry Catania -- glass blower. He taught me about glass. He was a generous and patient teacher. He always gave to his community by making art accessible to the entire community.
