An artist for 20 years, Vicki is most inspired by her passion for interior design. “I love having a shared vision with a designer and client, to create the perfect piece that will be the focal point of their room. It's so rewarding to have happy clients and see my work in their beautiful homes.”
Although she has taken numerous workshops and painted with many different artists over the years, Vicki is mostly self-taught.

Titles of works can be descriptive or clever or totally unrelated. What's your favorite title of a piece you've named? Why?
I try to choose titles that are positive and encouraging. When I'm titling, I'm usually listening to country music, and I'll pick a catchy phrase from a lyric. I would say one of my favorite titles would be an abstract, "Eye On The Prize."
Who is your favorite artist (other than yourself)? Why?
Gary Bodner from Atlanta. I love his creativity and how his mind works! No other artist paints like him, he has no rules, and I love it!
If you had to switch mediums, what kind of artist would you be?
I would switch to oil. I love the softness and the blended edges in an oil landscape.
