Digital Art “My art reflects the things that surround me. The movies I watch, the music I hear, the art I love,” says Adam Harris.
“I grew up loving comic books and the illustrations in them and wanted to make something like that. As I learned more and started taking drawing more seriously I realized making art is the coolest thing there is.”
Adam makes digital illustrations utilizing a variety of programs -- Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. -- to create playful and eye catching designs combining bold line, vibrant color, and typography.
“I'm inspired by art and artists in all their forms, whether its movies, music, or other visual artists. Seeing how other artists push and play with their mediums inspires me to push and play with mine. My work takes particular inspiration from the Pop Art movement, comic books, and animation.”

How do you know when a piece is finished?
It’s never finished.
In terms of your art, where is the most inspirational place you’ve ever been?
I don’t know if I have one specific place, but I find myself inspired by other artists of all kinds and how they use their mediums. Movie theaters, concerts, events like Artclectic, places where I can engage with someone else’s art and take something of that back to my own work.
Titles of works can be descriptive or clever or totally unrelated. What’s your favorite title of a piece you’ve named?
My favorite title is “This Was a Pizza Hut”, a piece I did of a Pizza Hut overgrown with daisies. It’s my favorite because it answers the question people always ask when they see it, “Is this a Pizza Hut?”
