New to Artclectic
“After years of jewelry making, I was looking for a new creative outlet,” notes Sharon Ray. I rediscovered a childhood pastime of embroidery and began finding new and innovative ways to create abstract images rather than following a pattern.
“In my art, I weave together scraps of fabric, thread, ribbon, and yarn to create gardens and landscapes. These small bits, insignificant on their own, mean more when combined, revealing a greater beauty and harmony when seen as a whole. This creative process is a reflection of my faith—finding beauty in the unremarkable and joy in the act of creation. My work is a reflection of the divine perspective that transforms our fragmented lives into something extraordinary.”
Lost in a garden, seeing new colors and textures each time you revisit.

Revisiting my grandmothers’ gardens in my memories is my go-to!
