New to Artclectic
“I’m most inspired by nature - the shape of leaves, the flowing lines of tree trunks and flower stems found on hikes, connection with earthly energies from minerals and stones,” says May Frederiksen of By May Nashville. “My ideas emerge from how they converge into something that can be worn and celebrated for years to come.”
Using natural minerals and stones, resin, and gold filled or sterling silver wire, May has been creating her unique jewelry pieces for six years.
“I participated in POPclectic several years ago and had a wonderful experience. I was able to walk through the main gallery and interact with so many different kinds of artists. It was clear to me that USN takes into account how artistic individuality is curated and celebrated.”
Last year for my birthday, my husband took me on a trip to attend a Brandi Carlile festival at the Gorge in Washington. It was a magical 4 day trip of amazing music, outdoor activities, local vineyards, and most importantly, time with my husband sans children!

I tend to name my pieces after Goddesses as a way to empower the spirit of the goddess into the wearer.
