“I love creating art that makes people happy,” says Edward Rittenberg. “I’ve always been drawn to strong colors and texture. I consider myself an impressionist impasto artist.”
Edward first started painting more than 25 years ago, but just started to sell his work in early 2022. He uses heavy body paint and acrylics to create impasto style paintings. “I move the paint with palette knives, spoons, paint brushes and other tools to get the look I want.”

My most recent painting is "Liberty in Bloom". It depicts the Statue of Liberty and background all done in flowers. My family came to the United States in the early 1900’s and saw Lady Liberty as they arrived. It was a new start, a fresh bloom, for them.
