“I am inspired by the textures and patterns of the natural world,” says Thomas.
A working artist for 30 years, his hand blown glass pieces are created by layering glass patterns atop one another and then etching away the surface to reveal the underlying colors. This technique gives the glass a unique texture.
What prompted Thomas to become an artist? “Took a class and the rest is Art History.”
