Our theme this year is Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. In the creation of your pieces, can you point to any examples where you follow these practices?
I like to paint and screen print on masonite panels. I really like to find used or discarded panels in my work and use them instead of buying new panels. Sometimes there are distressed elements on these panels that make my final work more interesting. I also like to make my own frames for my paintings and try and find used materials for this as well.
