Our theme this year is Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. In the creation of your pieces, can you point to any examples where you follow these practices?
I like to use unexpected materials in my mixed media pieces including discarded fabric from clothing, worn pillow cases, scraps of materials in my studio. I hate waste and I often challenge myself to make good use of everything around me. This mindset has yielded some pretty spectacular results!
