Proceeds from Artclectic support innovative teaching by providing funds for our extraordinary teachers to attend workshops, explore new ways of teaching, and bring back innovative and visionary ideas to share with our students and our community.

“Professional development can sometimes fall flat when put into practice, but IFSEL offered all of us tools that we could use as soon as we met up with our students on Day One,” says Lower School Art Teacher Betsy Hoffman about attending a conference through funds from the Artclectic endowment. “We were reminded that students come to school with many different viewpoints, backgrounds, and experiences and that it’s our responsibility to offer them a place that is safe for expression, learning, and collaborating.”
